Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress best famous for her character Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran between 2015 and current. The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed 13-year-old Lebanese American young girl Jasira who is swept up in a storm of emotions as a result of the U.S. invasion in Iraq in the Gulf War. In 2007, Variety declared her to be one of its 10 Actors-to-Watch. Crossing Over, a 2009 crime thriller film in which she played a strong female character named Taslima Jangir was nominated for one of the Independent Spirit Award nominee for the category of Best Female Lead. Alongside Lucky 7, she has played a role in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and starred in a number of TV guest characters.
